This is our platform in a live environment. The flow is a seamless, real-time loop that brings the character to life.
The player speaks. Our Foundry-Toolkit captures the voice command and instantly translates it into text.
This text is fed into the 'Soul' Engine, the character's core intelligence. The 'Soul' uses its persistent Memory, Knowledge, and Character to understand the context and generate an original, living response.
The Foundry-Toolkit completes the loop, translating the 'Soul's' text into both realistic speech and real-time facial animation for the NPC.
The Soul
The Soul is the living, persistent mind of your character. It's an advanced, on-device AI designed to move beyond scripts and engage in truly emergent behaviour.
We've architected the Soul as three distinct components: you provide the Context (the director's notes), the Memory (the lived experience), and our Engine (the spark) brings it all to life.

This is your creative control panel. Context is the set of rules and DNA you define for the character. It's how you direct the Soul's performance, ensuring it stays true to your world and narrative.
Knowledge: What the character knows about the world, its lore, history, and the current game state.
Character: Their defined personality, traits, charisma, and emotional state.
Skills: Their gameplay-relevant abilities and how they interact with other game systems.

A character isn't alive if it can't remember. The Memory is the Soul's persistent log of lived experience, allowing it to evolve. It records past player (and other NPC) conversations and actions, enabling true continuity. A promise made in Act 1 can be recalled in Act 3, and a slight from a player can be held as a grudge.

This is the spark itself. The Engine is our highly optimized, fine-tuned large language model (LLM) that runs locally on the player's device. It synthesizes the Context you've written and the Memory it's gained to process, perform, and converse in real-time. This is the magic that provides a living, original voice for your character.
